We Are All People Here

Just because you might not know who the person is behind a particular avatar or username, doesn’t mean they aren’t a human being. So we all have to treat each other with the same respect and decency that we would if we were seeing each other in the halls at school, or at the movies on Friday night. 

What does that mean in practice? You know, the basics of being a normal, decent human being: 

• No dogpiling
• No public shaming
• No revenge porn
• Trolling will happen — don’t feed the trolls

Personal Experiences

Part of Sexcellent is sharing your personal experiences and stories with one another. However, stories that objectify others have no place in Sexcellent. 

When you talk about any of your personal experiences, remember that it is important to not identify someone and to respect their privacy.

Talking about sex can feel really vulnerable. Let’s respect and embrace the courage to open up, and make sure that nobody takes advantage of it.
